Join a demolition project at the former West Wallsend Mine Site in NSW as an Excavator Operator. In this role, you’ll work on complex remediation and demolition activities within a decommissioned mining environment, partnering with a respected industry leader. You’ll operate a range of specialised attachments while contributing to large-scale demolition works, with competitive pay and strong opportunities for ongoing development.
 
What you’ll be doing

• Operating excavators fitted with hydraulic hammers, pulverisers, demolition grabs, shears and buckets
• Demolishing and dismantling concrete structures, footings, slabs, buildings, conveyor systems and pipework
• Processing demolition materials including steel separation, recycling and waste management
• Loading trucks with demolition waste, concrete spoil, scrap metal and general fill
• Working safely around underground and above-ground services while maintaining exclusion zones

 
What we’re looking for

• Current Order 45 Medical or willingness to obtain one
• White Card and demonstrated excavator experience using demolition attachments
• Previous experience operating excavators from 5T to 30T in demolition environments
• Willingness to assist with labouring duties when required
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work around existing services
